For the next week I had it all planned out. I was planning to complete my final production for my brand Dier. What I had initially had planned was create a typography advert to promote my brand. However, me and my tutor linked up to discuss how I should bring the final major project to a close.
Firstly she asked me has everything gone to plan as you hoped regarding the whole fmp. I replied yes because during the project I didn’t really have a major hiccup during the way. If I must say, things have been going smoothly and more importantly I have been taking it upon myself in my own time to complete more artwork for my FMP. Moving on I told her about my typography video on after effects. She then said she doesn’t think I should go down that route because it take a fair bit of time for it to be right.
I then told her that teachers in the past have questioned my lack of experimentation. I have gotten comments that when I have an idea, I have a narrow path in front of me. I didn’t really experiment. She accepted this and said maybe you could combine something with experimenting and produce it at the same time. She suggested trying different fonts out with famous names such as: Katherine Hammett and Vivienne Westwood. At that moment an idea emerged in my head. I am going to create a montage of different fonts on an A3 sheet. As well as this I am also going to include phrases, words and names that link to ethical fashion. I don’t know the technical name for this but here is a picture below of it.

Peace
