PROJECT PROPOSAL

Section 1 (Review)

Ethical fashion is something the world requires. Right now globally we are using too many materials that are limited and easily attainable. We need a change. More ideas. A revelation. Many of the top end brands have secrets that they don’t want exposed. Working conditions are appalling. The factories the employees work in are abysmal. Animal welfare is rejected. Millions of animal’s death are utilised for the company’s profit. Their fur is exploited to produce extravagant coats - forcing numerous amounts species of animals endangered.

My current skills are impeccable given to the surprise of my age. I specialise in photography. Taking pictures is what I regularly do, and the art has become natural to me for many years now. I know how to edit videos using the software Adobe Premiere Pro, as it has helped me to understand how timing and pacing can make a product more appealing to an audience. In addition, another skill that I attained at college is learning how use different software such as: Photoshop and Illustrator. This has enabled me to edit and enhance images. I have also created logos, manipulated text and subverted original advertising campaigns. All of these skills have significantly equipped me for most tasks because now I can create animation, present eye-catching ideas more vividly and present videos that successfully fulfil purpose in line with a set brief. So far all of my video projects have generated good responses from the intended audience.  Other skills I have increased along the way are learning how to effectively interview people, specifically I now feel more confident approaching people on the street in order to ask questions and collect primary research.

Section 2 Project Concept

My idea for my fmp is constructing a campaign for a new clothing brand, which is 100% ethical. Working conditions will be adequate for the employees and health and safety relegations will be a top priority. No animal’s death will be utilised for our benefit. We also want to display rich quality seaming through our clothing. We want to sell our products at a fair and reasonable price range. Sustainable production is also going to be implemented to our brand. We’re proud to say all our fabrics are from eco-friendly resources. We really believe in the three R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Section 3 Evaluation

When everything is finished - all of it must be comprehended by the audience . All my clothing on my website should be properly exhibited, and the information that goes with it should be accurate. The shopping with Dier models video should be completed and will be cut up into 2 or 3 minute intervals. My logo will be everywhere on my website. People who see it should instantly distinguish the brand. Primary and secondary research should be concluded. I have aspirations to record an excellent viewing of a focus group.  The only aspect I am hesitant about is the making a campaign video. Lastly, I want to write a short bio with mini pictures and possibly produce videos of all the models that have assisted me to accomplish my goals. Since they are so heavily involved with my production, I want them to be acknowledged as the heart of Dier.
